What is an International Business Reply mailpiece?
An International Business Reply mailpiece is similar to a domestic Business Reply mailpiece (which is usually referred to as, simply, a Business Reply mailpiece). The main difference between an International Business Reply mailpiece and a domestic Business Reply mailpiece is that an International Business Reply mailpiece can be distributed in certain foreign countries, but a domestic Business Reply mailpiece can be distributed only in the United States.

International Business Reply mailpieces look somewhat different than domestic Business Reply mailpieces. Here is a picture of an International Business Reply mailpiece:



You must complete the following tasks before you can create and use an International Business Reply mailpiece: Your local U.S. Postal Service "Mailpiece Design Analyst" will assist you with these tasks. A Mailpiece Design Analyst is a U.S. Postal Service employee that has received special training in the U.S. Postal Service rules and procedures that govern Business Reply Mail.
